Seafarer wages and demand
What companies offered in the adverts they posted on Navalitica in the last 12 months, and how many seafarers applied, by rank and vessel type. Each currency is counted on its own, with no conversion: an advert counts only in the currency it was posted in.
Updated 15-Oct-2026. Adverts published from 15-Oct-2025 to 15-Oct-2026.
Monthly wages

How these are counted
Median: half of the adverts offered more and half less. Middle half: the middle 50% of the adverts offered between these two figures (the 25th to the 75th percentile).
A wage is shown only when at least 5 adverts from at least 3 different companies give one for that rank and vessel type. The counts of adverts and applications are always shown.
A full-crew advert counts once for each of its ranks. Adverts paid per job, adverts with no rank or no vessel type, and adverts in any other currency are not counted. Withdrawn applications are not counted.
The figures are worked out again at the start of every month.
